Why: Grassroots Arts in Bristol

On the surface, Bristol has a lot of creativity and arts provision. However the reality is that many artist spaces are at risk of being lost as the artists don't own their buildings.

We could look back a few years from now and wonder why all the spaces are gone.

Why: Local COmmunity

Trinity Road Police Station sits in Lawrence Hill ward at the meeting point of Old Market, St Judes, St Phillips, Newtown and Stapleton Road. Collectively this area encompasses diverse communities, each strong on their own but to some extent disconnected and with the possibility of being stronger together.

What’s the alternative?

If the site does not become an artspace it will likely be demolished and a new residential block put up in its place. We believe that would not be good news for several following reasons.
