Are you ready to explore your creative curiosity?

Bricks Young Creatives is a series of Masterclasses dedicated to the young people of St Anne’s & surrounding areas in Bristol. You will have the opportunity to be part of intimate workshops with local artists, as you explore their practice & the theme of heritage.

The workshops are hosted at St Anne’s House & produced by Bricks to bring a collective of passionate & intrigued creatives together.

Since the launch or the programme in August 2021, we have seen artists: Dhaqan Collective, Rowan Bishop, Buoys Buoys Buoys & Zanne Andrea facilitate free sessions exploring heritage.

Political Poster Making

Join Careful Now Collective as they teach how creative methods can give a voice to a cause.

In this workshop we will make replica posters from the French Protests ’68 using wood-carving & silkscreen methods. We’ll discuss a bit of the history of ‘68 and some modern similarities & differences. We’ll make prints for you to take home with you & some techniques for making posters at home.

About Bricks

We are Bricks, a social enterprise with a mission to support local & creative communities to thrive in Bristol. St Anne’s House (in Brislington) which will launch later this summer as a new creative & community hub.

We want to support young people who live in & around St Anne’s to explore arts & creative practice. In collaboration with young artists & creatives living in the area, we are developing Bricks Young Creatives – a programme of opportunities & projects for & by young people.
