For and by the St Anne’s community

Bricks brings artists and local residents together to explore how we can create change, explore ideas and support each other in and around the BS4 area and beyond. Through projects, meet-ups, creative workshops and volunteer opportunities we create space for people to come together, explore what is possible and make new things happen.

The project is steered by St Annes Arts Action Group, a group of local residents that formed to shape the project and ensure it meets local needs and ambitions.

Georgia has joined Bricks as the Engagement Producer. She will be collaborating with the local community of St Anne’s to explore the possibilities of a creative community hub at St Annes House.

For the past three years Georgia worked at Arts charity In Between Time, bringing together local and international artists and Bristol communities. Georgia is a Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Fellow and holds an Msc in Creative Arts and Mental Health where she explored the relationship between performance and care. She is interested in how socially engaged art can be a space to explore what care can look like and create space for play, risk-taking and the unexpected.
