Kim Wide

Kim Wide is Founder, CEO and Artistic Director of Take A Part CIC, the South West’s leading socially engaged arts organisation. Via Take A Part, Kim established an innovative and award winning co-commissioning public realm curatorial process developed and managed by communities. Take A Part is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, supporting the strategic development new audiences in Plymouth and the wider South West region.

Kim is interested in diversity, engagement, access to arts and culture and new community initiatives and works nationally and internationally to engage people in sustainable, educational and risk-taking projects about identity and community. She also likes a very long walk, real ales and attempting to (badly) make craft.
